And they are off.... I felt a little off right from the start. Not much snap in the legs today. Stephanie and I rode a ton last weekend, then I ran for a couple days and taught yoga a couple nights and my toenails needed trimming... On Thursday my legs felt a little flat. Today was kinda the same story.

The course was really fun. Lots of loose gravel to keep you on your toes. I ended up beating the guy in the green and a couple other victims of the course. I ended up 5th, thin crowd, we are a long way from Boulder and this wasn't a Colorado Cup race.

Had no snap on the run-up either. But overall I was loving being out there and I am feeling stronger every day. Now that the finger is really usable and there is no more pin sticking out of my finger, I can make my march back to riding like days of old.

Brett "Big Guns" Billings was on hand, he missed registration so he raced with the 3's after getting a pep talk from the Texas Road House armadillo.
